Kuwaiti in Poland
I saw this in the papers and had some questions: why did they mention that he was drunk in the first article only not the second? the name in the first article is Mohammed A. , while in the second they say it's Mohammed Khaled Al-Shaibani, no A. here, and last, why do newspapers disclose names when there is a Kuwaiti + Drunk + Crime abroad? (remember the two Kuwaiti girls who killed that scooter guy in the US?)

When you commit a public crime, in most parts of the world, you forfeit your right to privacy. The young Kuwaiti, son of the Ambassador, confessed, expressed a desire to pay the costs of the entire stand-off, etc. and hopes to be deported soon back to Kuwait. He was very remorseful. That usually works in your favor, as well as having diplomatic immunity.

i know a mohammed al shaibani from my days in school.. lol he a sweet and hilarious guy.. class clown and if it was really HIM, i'm not TOO surprised. but maybe he's not.. i don't know what he would be doing in Poland anyway..
but back to your topic, i half agree.. 1. journalist dont give these issue consideration.. at least in other countries.. the most they'll do is not reveal children's names (most of the time)
2. in kuwait, the arab capital of gossip, people eat this up and love it = more people buy the paper when they hear that there's a scandal in the day's run.

i agree on the "public crime" issue, but with kuwait gossip and quick judging culture i think ppl will talk about this issue in a negative way bc of these two aspects: son of ambassador & alcohol involvement.
